Cash Donations: We rely on cash donations to pay costs such as storage, dry cleaning, transportation, and other expenses. Cash donations also enable us to purchase items that are rarely donated, such as outfits for students with specific clothing needs. A donation of $300 enables us to outfit a Cinderella or Cinderfella from head to toe. A $1,000 donation allows us to provide one more student with a cash award for their post secondary education. And a contribution of $5,000 provides lunch for all the students on Boutique Day. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of our students.

The Cinderella Project is a federally registered charity (Registered Canadian Charitable Organization Business Number 86666 0699 RR0001), and your cash or in-kind donation can be fully tax deductible. We would be pleased to issue a tax receipt for the value of all goods or funds donated (over $25). For a tax receipt to be issued for goods, they must be new and accompanied by an original invoice or receipt. For a tax receipt to be issued for services, we also require an invoice or receipt.

You can donate either by:

  • mailing a cheque payable to The Cinderella Project, #172-219 Mackay Road, North Vancouver, BC V7P 3N6
  • donating online with Paypal using your credit card or debit card.

In-Kind Donations: Donations of graduation-appropriate formal wear, dress shoes and accessories for young ladies and men are always needed, as are items such as new, unused cosmetics and toiletries for the gift bags that students receive on Boutique Day.

Please note that our drop-off locations are now closed for 2019.

Did you know that The Cinderella Project provides several Achievement Awards each year? To date we have awarded over $67,000, 30 laptop computers and 30 hairdressing scholarships.

Most students referred to The Cinderella Project are not eligible for traditional scholarship funding, and the Achievement Awards are designed to recognize our students’ special needs. Past funding has helped students to attend school with childcare, to purchase tools for trades, and to secure adaptive technology for distance learning.

Did you know that your donations not only help us encourage at-risk youth to stay in school and complete their high school education, but allow us to offer financial assistance for post secondary education? We are excited to have students attending the following schools, thanks to your generosity: Langara, BCIT, SFU, UBC, McGill, UVIC, VCC, Capilano University, Emily Carr University, Ryerson Polytechnic, MIT, UBCO, Queens and many more! Well done!!
