Did you know you can donate to The Cinderella Project by e-transfer through your bank – use info@thecinderellaproject.com as the recipient. Please note that if you require a tax receipt (for donations over $25) please also email us your contact information.

The Cinderella Project is a federally registered charity (Registered Canadian Charitable Organization Business Number 86666 0699 RR0001), and your cash or in-kind donation can be fully tax deductible. We would be pleased to issue a tax receipt for the value of all goods or funds donated (over $25). For a tax receipt to be issued for goods, they must be new and accompanied by an original invoice or receipt.

Did you know that The Cinderella Project provides several Achievement Awards each year? To date we have awarded over $298,000 in financial awards, 58 laptop computers and 35 hairdressing scholarships.

Most students referred to The Cinderella Project are not eligible for traditional scholarship funding, and the Achievement Awards are designed to recognize our students’ special needs. Past funding has helped students to attend school with childcare, to purchase tools for trades, and to secure adaptive technology for distance learning.

Did you know that your donations not only help us encourage at-risk youth to stay in school and complete their high school education, but allow us to offer financial assistance for post secondary education? We are excited to have students attending the following schools, thanks to your generosity: Langara, BCIT, SFU, UBC, McGill, UVIC, VCC, Capilano University, Emily Carr University, Ryerson Polytechnic, MIT, UBCO, Queens and many more! In-Kind Donations:

For graduation attire, we are looking for formal wear items that are clean and in good repair. Remember these items will be worn and loved by Grade 12 students at their formal graduation ceremony. We are not able to accept wedding dresses at anytime. Please email us at info@thecinderellaproject.com for more information.

• Formal Dresses:
  • please no wedding gowns or short dresses
  • formal long or tea length dresses only
• Accessories (for wearing with suits or dresses):
  • jewellery – sparkly earrings and necklaces (clip-ons are always in demand)
  • jewellery – plain chains in gold and silver
  • tiaras, rhinestone headstones and other formal hair accessories
  • evening shoes (new or as-new condition)
    • to wear with a dress (sizes larger than 10 or smaller than 6 are most needed)
    • to wear with a suit – all sizes, classic black leather style is most often the favourite
  • dress shirts – NEW white dress shirts in all sizes
  • belts – new or like-new black dress belts suitable for wearing with a dressy suit
  • other accessories to wear with a suit – chain necklaces, earrings, sunglasses, tie clips, fedora-style hats,
  • NEW underwear for all students, all sizes – including underwear, bras, boxers, briefs and undershirts
  • NEW socks – black dress socks

Comfort Bag Items

We invite approximately 250 students to our Graduation Celebration Day. We have comfort items for these students to take home with them, including new and unopened toiletry items, non-perishable snacks and treats, small gifts (gift cards, cosmetic bags, etc). Donate your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for The Cinderella Project. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to The Cinderella Project through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for The Cinderella Project to benefit.
