Did you know you can donate to The Cinderella Project by e-transfer through your bank – use info@thecinderellaproject.com as the recipient. Please note that if you require a tax receipt (for donations over $25) please also email us your contact information.

The Cinderella Project is a federally registered charity (Registered Canadian Charitable Organization Business Number 86666 0699 RR0001), and your cash or in-kind donation can be fully tax deductible. We would be pleased to issue a tax receipt for the value of all goods or funds donated (over $25). For a tax receipt to be issued for goods, they must be new and accompanied by an original invoice or receipt.

At The Cinderella Project, we believe every student deserves the chance to succeed—not just through high school, but beyond. Our Achievement Awards help students overcome financial barriers and give them the confidence to pursue post-secondary education or training programs.

Each year, we are able to provide awards to a growing number of students. All award applicants get a scholarship or bursary, ranging from full tuition to $100 book awards. To date, we’ve gifted over $400,000 in support, and thanks to the Bright Futures Education Fund, we’ve been able to provide four full tuition scholarships!

Many students we support aren’t eligible for traditional scholarships, and our Achievement Awards are designed to meet their unique needs. Past funding has helped students with childcare for school, tools for trades, and adaptive technology for distance learning.

Thanks to your generosity, students are now pursuing education at schools such as Langara, BCIT, SFU, UBC, McGill, UofT, UVIC, VCC, CapU, Emily Carr, Ryerson, MIT, UBCO, Queens and many more. Your support not only helps students stay in school—it opens doors to a brighter future!

The Cinderella Project Wish List

Student attire needs to be clean, in good repair and trendy for our grads!

Formal Dresses

• Long or tea-length dresses only
• No wedding gowns or short cocktail dresses

 Accessories (for wearing with suits or dresses)

• Sparkly earrings and necklaces (clip-ons always in demand)
• Plain chains in gold and silver
• Tiaras, rhinestone headpieces, and other formal hair accessories

 Evening Shoes

• For dresses (sizes larger than 10 or smaller than 6 are most needed)
• For suits – all sizes, classic styles preferred  New or like-new condition only

 Suit Accessories & Dresswear

• Dress shirts – NEW, white, all sizes
• Belts – NEW or like-new black dress belts
• Accessories – chain necklaces, earrings, sunglasses, tie clips, fedora-style hats, watches

 Undergarments & Socks

• NEW underwear – all sizes (bras, boxers, briefs, undershirts)
• NEW socks – casual and black dress socks

 Make-up

• NEW, UNOPENED mascara, lipstick, eye liner, foundation etc.

 Hair Supplies for Dress Zone

• NEW, UNOPENED hairspray, gel, shampoo, conditioner, bobby pins, hairbrushes, combs

 Grooming Supplies for Suit Zone

• NEW, UNOPENED hair gel, body wash, deodorant, shave cream, shampoo, conditioner, hairbrushes, combs

Student Comfort Bag Items

We invite approximately 250 students to our Graduation Celebration Day or Boutique Day. Each student receives a comfort bag filled with thoughtful items, including:

• Toiletries – NEW & UNOPENED
• Snacks & Treats – non-perishable

Small Gifts – gift cards, cosmetic bags, and more

Donate your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for The Cinderella Project. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to The Cinderella Project through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for The Cinderella Project to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. Please click here to donate a vehicle.
